Establishing communication
Rocketboost products form an audio network and each Rocketboost
wireless receiver can select the audio from any Rocketboost wireless
sender in the network.
Important
Every Rocketboost network must contain one hub device, which
helps devices join the network. The network can have only one hub,
which you can enable using the hub switch on the back of all
Rocketboost wireless senders and wireless sender/receivers.
If this is your first Rocketboost product, you should make the wireless
sender the hub, if you already have Rocketboost products, you
should disable hub mode on this device.
Important: Hub devices must always have power for your network to operate. The hub
device can be in standby (power saving) mode, but must stay plugged in.
Is this your first Rocketboost product?
YES - If this is your first Rocketboost enabled product, you can skip this
section because your wireless sender and wireless receiver were
previously paired or connected at the factory. To learn how to use
your wireless sender and wireless receiver, see “Listening to music
and using your wireless sender and wireless receiver” on page 35.
Note: If you do need to rejoin the wireless sender and wireless receiver, see “Pairing the
wireless sender with the wireless receiver” below.
NO - If this is not your first Rocketboost enabled product, proceed to
“Pairing the wireless sender and wireless receiver with an existing
Rocketboost network” on page 34.
