Adjusting the volume balance for surround sound
If you are using the Wireless HD Audio Starter Kit for wireless
surround sound, the volume control on the wireless receiver is only
used to adjust the volume balance between the front and surround
speakers. When you are first setting up your home theater system,
use the volume control to balance the sound. After the sound is
balanced, you don't need to use the volume on the wireless receiver
anymore because the volume of the home theater system (including
the surround speakers) is controlled using the volume control of your
home theater receiver or amplifier.
Note: After the wireless receiver volume is set, always adjust the home theater volume
using the volume control on your amplifier or external audio device.
Disabling an audio channel
To disable an audio channel:
• Press SOURCE A/B on the wireless sender to stop the audio signals from
being transmitted from either input A or B.
• The source A/B indicator lights turn off on the wireless sender.
• The source indicator attached to input A/B also turns off on the
wireless receiver.
Controlling the device volume
The volume of the wireless receiver can be changed.
To change the volume of the wireless receiver:
• Aim the remote control at the wireless receiver and press the DEVICE
volume buttons on the remote control, or turn the volume knob on the
wireless receiver to adjust the volume.
